Sometimes the GPS has a hard time distinguishing between a proper two-track and a farmer's trail. The day started off like this and the GPS threw a few more surprises our way.
At one point we made a wrong turn onto a steep uphill drive with no way to turn back. Almost immediately we were forced to a stop with our 700 lbs of bike and rider as a car backed out. NOT FUN! A few choice words were uttered.
We reached the top, turned around safely and descended one at a time. Marc first, then Jan followed by Mary then Joe. When Mary and Joe caught up with Marc, he said, "Where's Jan?"
"She's not with you? She left before us!"
Jan had missed Marc turning off since he was trying to turn the 'Beast' around in the sand by the beach, not so "high-vis" at that moment.
Joe headed out for search and recovery and gathered up the lost sheep.
